Submit
The diverse voices and visions of TCC South creators deserve to be celebrated. Script promotes self expression and creativity by providing a multimedia platform produced by students for students.

​Guidelines




Entrants must be enrolled at Tarrant County College South Campus when they submit. Entries that do not follow the guidelines may not be considered. 

Guidelines:
  • All work must be the student's original, unpublished work.
  • All creative pieces must have a title; no "untitled" submissions.
  • Editors will judge anonymous submissions. Your name and/or identifying information must not appear anywhere in the file you submit.
  • Students may submit entries in as many categories as desired.
  • Students may submit up to 3 items in all categories except visual art. Students may submit up to 6 items in visual art.
  • When you submit your work for consideration, you grant Script one-time publication rights for both paper and online formats. You also grant the Script staff the right to make minor editorial changes as necessary.
  • Accepted work may also be used for promotional purposes.
  • Editorial decisions regarding inclusion in the publication are final.
  • Submissions are welcome year round. Script is published once per academic year.
  • Notifications regarding submissions are sent near the end of each Spring semester.
  • Notifications cannot be acquired early. Do not attempt to reach out to an editor directly regarding submission status.
  • You will not receive a confirmation email regarding your submission. You can view your attempts in Blackboard to confirm that your work was properly submitted.
  • Deadline for inclusion in 2020-2021 issue: March 31, 2021.

Publication and Prizes:
The artists of the works selected for publication in Script will receive a certificate and an honorarium. An additional honorarium will be awarded to the best submission in each category. Editors' decisions are final.


Submit Online:
Log in to your myTCC Blackboard account in a different tab and return to this website. Click the "Submit" button located in the header of this page to gain direct access to the submission manager. You must be logged onto a computer to do this.

Alternatively, you can look for SO-Script under "TCC Clubs and Committees" in Blackboard. Click the chevron to enroll. Click here for visual instructions.
